Ahh, summer…love is in the air, and bridal season is upon us. The Dolls simply could not let this season pass without a celebration, so we threw a not-to-be-missed VIP shopping event for brides-to-be, bachelorettes, and other busty babes at New York City’s legendary Town Shop last Thursday. Celebratory champagne flowed throughout the evening, as guests received dazzling make-overs by the Glam Fairy and classic burlesque lessons from Jo Weldon, founder and headmistress of the NY School of Burlesque. For dessert, Harlem’s very own Sugar Momma brought in a beautiful wedding cake and mini-cupcakes in flavors such as pink champagne and red velvet. (And each treat was piled high with delectable whipped cream!) The ladies who attended the party were all given proper brassiere fittings by Town Shop’s experienced staff. These fit queens really know how it’s done–some of them are veterans who have worked at the store for over 25 years! Our Doll eyes teared up with pride as we watched our customers receive transformative Hollywood bombshell makeovers, then get down to doing serious bumping and grinding–all while wearing their new DD Lingerie!
